Cadillac Expands Customization Program to Escalade IQ, Starting Above $185,000

Cadillac is taking luxury customization to new heights with the expansion of its Curated by Cadillac program to the Escalade IQ. According to Carscoops, this bespoke service will allow buyers to personalize nearly every aspect of their electric SUV, but at a significant premium. The program promises exclusivity, craftsmanship, and a wide array of choices for those seeking a truly unique Escalade IQ.

Curated by Cadillac: A New Level of Personalization

The Curated by Cadillac program, originally inspired by the Celestiq commissioning process, is now available for the Escalade IQ. Cadillac describes the offering as setting a “new standard in customized luxury,” giving buyers access to more than 160 exterior colors and finishes, ranging from classic solids to matte and frost options.

Inside, the customization continues with up to 44 interior designs, a significant leap from the three color choices available on the standard Escalade IQ Premium Luxury. Options include various two-tone combinations, such as red and black or white and tan.

Hand-Built Craftsmanship and Exclusive Features

Each Curated by Cadillac Escalade IQ will be hand-built at the Artisan Center in Warren, Michigan, rather than the standard Factory Zero. These vehicles will be hand-painted, assigned unique VINs, and feature a serialized builder’s badge, underscoring their exclusivity.

To help buyers navigate the extensive options, Cadillac provides a dedicated design concierge and guided configurator sessions. This personalized approach ensures that each vehicle reflects the owner’s preferences down to the finest detail.

Pricing and Availability

The Curated by Cadillac package adds $54,995 (~AUD 77,911) to the base price of the Escalade IQ, which starts at $150,600 (~AUD 213,353) for the Premium Luxury trim. As a result, buyers should expect to pay more than $185,000 (~AUD 262,087) for a customized Escalade IQ, with well-equipped models potentially exceeding $215,000 (~AUD 304,587).

Production will be extremely limited, with the program available in ultra-low numbers in the United States and Canada. Deliveries are scheduled to begin in the second half of 2027, and a concept version will be unveiled at Monterey Car Week on August 14.

Escalade IQ Performance and Range

The Escalade IQ is Cadillac’s flagship electric SUV, equipped with a 205 kWh battery pack and a dual-motor all-wheel-drive system. This setup delivers up to 750 hp (559 kW / 760 PS) and 785 lb-ft (1,063 Nm) of torque, enabling 0-60 mph (0-96 km/h) acceleration in 4.7 seconds.

On a full charge, the Escalade IQ can travel up to 465 miles (~748 km), making it one of the longest-range electric SUVs on the market.

Why this matters

The expansion of the Curated by Cadillac program to the Escalade IQ highlights a growing trend toward ultra-personalized, high-end electric vehicles. For buyers seeking exclusivity and bespoke craftsmanship, this program offers a level of customization rarely seen in the SUV segment.

By offering hand-built vehicles with extensive personalization options, Cadillac is positioning itself at the forefront of luxury EVs, appealing to customers who value individuality as much as performance and technology.

What this means for buyers

Prospective Escalade IQ buyers now have the opportunity to create a truly unique vehicle, but should be prepared for a significant price premium and limited availability. Those interested in the Curated by Cadillac program should act quickly, as production numbers will be extremely low and demand for bespoke luxury EVs continues to rise.

Buyers should also consider the long lead time, with deliveries not expected until the second half of 2027.
