A recent study conducted by the University of California (UC) Berkeley reveals a consistent, albeit gradual, reduction in carbon emissions correlated with the growing adoption of electric vehicles (EVs) in recent years. Examining carbon emission patterns from 2018 to 2022, the research utilized data collected from 50 air-quality sensors positioned across the Bay Area. These findings were detailed in a report published in the Environmental Science and Technology journal on Thursday.
