Honda is losing market share because they are not making enough electric vehicles. They should ramp up as soon as possible.
The Honda Prologue combines a brand-specific design—the work of the Honda Design Studio in Los Angeles—and the General Motors-sourced Ultium platform. Honda is not talking powertrains for now, but it does say the Prologue will be available with all-wheel drive.
Honda doesn’t really believe that the current lithium-ion technology is the long-run solution for electric vehicles. Solid-State batteries are going to be the game changer for them, according to them. Honda is committed to the development of solid-state batteries and recently announced a $310 million investment in the area.
