China’s EV sales pass 50% – Toyota Camry & Nissan Sylphy crash 60%

A historic milestone was reached between April 1 and 14, as new energy vehicle (NEV) sales in China surpassed fifty percent of total automotive sales. NEVs, a Chinese term that predominantly refers to pure electric vehicles and plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (PHEVs), accounted for the majority of this achievement.
