In February, plug-in electric vehicles (EVs) captured a 92.1% market share in Norway, indicating a rise from 90.1% compared to the previous year. As a result of recent tax adjustments, battery electric vehicles (BEVs) alone maintained a share above 90% for the second consecutive month. Despite this dominance in the EV sector, the overall automotive volume remained significantly below seasonal averages, totaling 7,380 units. Notably, the Tesla Model Y accounted for 1,747 units sold, constituting nearly a quarter of the entire market.
