Tesla has introduced a fresh iteration of its Model Y, now featuring the Long Range Rear-Wheel Drive variant in the United States. This unveiling follows the introduction of the Quicksilver color option, previously restricted to markets in Europe and Asia. The new Model Y supersedes the former regular RWD version and is priced at $44,990, providing a range of 320 miles. Although the entry price for a Model Y has risen by $2,000, customers benefit from a significant increase in range to 320 miles (up from 260 miles previously), representing a 23% improvement, along with a 0-60 mph acceleration time of 6.5 seconds.
