Ford EV Sales up an incredible 81% as Ford puts production on hold

In February, Ford Motor Company’s eponymous brand sold 165,693 vehicles in the U.S., marking an increase of over 9% compared to the previous year. The year-to-date sales figure stands at 311,325, reflecting a 7% year-over-year increase. Despite concerns of an “EV slowdown,” Ford’s electric vehicle sales surged last month, reaching 6,368 units, an 81% increase from the previous year. Additionally, the proportion of EVs within the brand’s total sales volume improved to 3.8%, up from 2.3% a year ago.
