Geely Galaxy TT to Debut July 6: Up to 725 km Range and New Design Revealed

Geely Galaxy is set to unveil its latest all-electric sedan, the Galaxy TT, at a world premiere event in Shanghai on July 6. The new model promises a maximum range of 725 km and introduces a fresh design language for the brand. The Galaxy TT arrives as Geely Galaxy reports a strong rebound in sales for June 2026.

Galaxy TT: New Electric Sedan Launching in Shanghai

Geely Galaxy, a brand under Geely Auto, will hold the global debut of the Galaxy TT in Shanghai on July 6. The Galaxy TT is positioned as a mid to large-size, C-segment AI-powered electric sedan and features advanced technologies such as LiDAR and an electric rear wing.

The vehicle has completed its regulatory filing with the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, paving the way for its official launch.

Design and Technical Highlights

The Galaxy TT introduces a new design language for Geely Galaxy, with a closed front grille and slim, rounded headlights that give it a youthful appearance. The sedan measures 4,999 mm (~197 inches) in length, 1,919 mm (~76 inches) in width, and 1,479 mm (~58 inches) in height, with a wheelbase of 2,920 mm (~115 inches).

Under the hood, the drive motor delivers a maximum output of 245 kW (329 hp). Depending on configuration, the curb weight is either 1,765 kg (~3,891 lbs) or 1,790 kg (~3,946 lbs).

Battery Options and Range

The Galaxy TT will be available with three battery pack options: 52.4 kWh, 63.8 kWh, and 75.2 kWh. These correspond to four different range versions: 540 km (~336 miles), 640 km (~398 miles), 650 km (~404 miles), and 725 km (~451 miles), depending on the chosen configuration.

Specifically, the 52.4 kWh pack offers a 540 km range, the 63.8 kWh pack provides 640 km, and the largest 75.2 kWh pack enables either 650 km or 725 km of range.

Naming and Brand Momentum

The name ‘TT’ was selected through Geely Galaxy’s global naming campaign, winning first place with the highest number of votes. The brand interprets TT as both ‘Trend & Technology’ and ‘Time Tourist.’

June 2026 marked a turnaround for Geely Galaxy, with 108,206 vehicles sold—a 19.93% increase year-on-year and a 32.40% jump from May, ending five consecutive months of year-on-year declines. Geely Auto’s battery electric vehicle sales also rebounded, reaching 103,522 units in June, up 21.96% year-on-year.

Why this matters

The debut of the Galaxy TT signals Geely Galaxy’s renewed momentum in the electric vehicle market, following several months of declining sales. With its advanced features, multiple battery options, and competitive range figures, the Galaxy TT is positioned to attract buyers in the mid to large-size electric sedan segment.

The strong sales performance in June 2026 highlights growing consumer interest in Geely Galaxy’s offerings and reinforces the brand’s commitment to innovation and technology.

What this means for buyers

Buyers considering a mid to large-size electric sedan will soon have a new option with the Galaxy TT, which offers a range of battery choices and advanced technology features. The model’s competitive range and fresh design may appeal to those seeking both performance and style.

With Geely Galaxy’s sales rebounding, prospective customers can expect continued support and development from the brand as it expands its electric vehicle lineup.
