Kia’s US Electric Car sales hit new record, increase by 151% in March

Eric Watson, Kia America’s vice president of sales operations, highlighted the significant role of the company’s expansion in SUVs and the initial success of the all-new, all-electric three-row EV9 in achieving Kia’s second-best first-quarter sales performance. In March alone, Kia recorded sales of 1,281 EV9 models, contributing to a total of 4,007 units sold during the first three months of the year. The introduction of this new model substantially boosted EV sales by 151% in March.
