Leapmotor B03X Opens for Orders in Europe with Enhanced Power and Range

Leapmotor has begun accepting orders for its new B03X electric crossover in Europe. Known as the A10 in China, the B03X arrives with more power and improved specifications tailored for European customers. The model aims to combine advanced technology and practical features for urban drivers.

Leapmotor B03X Launches in Europe

Leapmotor has officially opened European orders for the B03X, a model previously sold as the A10 in China. The B03X is positioned as a smart urban crossover, designed to offer a blend of technology, versatility, and everyday usability.

The starting price for the B03X in Europe is $28,479 (~AUD 41,057).

Design and Dimensions

The B03X measures 4,270 mm (~168 inches) in length, 1,810 mm (~71 inches) in width, and 1,635 mm (~64 inches) in height, with a wheelbase of 2,605 mm (~103 inches). The exterior features a trapezoidal lower bumper intake and ventilation openings in the fog light areas.

Performance and Battery Options

Built on Leapmotor’s CTC 2.0 Plus (Cell-to-Chassis) battery system, the B03X is powered by a front-mounted electric motor delivering 145 kW (195 hp) and 200 Nm of torque. It can reach a top speed of 160 km/h and accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 8.6 seconds.

Compared to the Chinese A10, which offers 70 kW (94 hp) or 90 kW (121 hp) motors with 150 Nm of torque, the B03X provides a notable power upgrade for the European market.

Customers can select between two high-density LFP battery options: a 39.8 kWh battery with up to 292 km (~181 miles) of WLTP range, or a 53.0 kWh battery offering up to 382 km (~237 miles) of WLTP range. Both versions support 2.5C fast charging, enabling a 30% to 80% charge in about 16 minutes.

Interior Features and Practicality

Inside, the B03X integrates Leap OS 4.0, the company’s latest digital ecosystem. The vehicle includes a 106L sunken storage compartment in the trunk, and the rear seat cushions can be flipped up 60 degrees to provide additional storage flexibility.

Why this matters

The launch of the Leapmotor B03X in Europe brings a new electric crossover option with enhanced power and practical range choices. The model’s upgraded specifications compared to its Chinese counterpart reflect Leapmotor’s adaptation to European market expectations.

With features like fast charging and a digital ecosystem, the B03X is positioned to appeal to urban EV buyers seeking a balance of technology and usability.

What this means for buyers

European customers now have access to the Leapmotor B03X, offering a choice of battery sizes and a higher-powered motor than the Chinese A10. Buyers looking for a compact electric crossover with fast charging and flexible storage may find the B03X a strong contender.

Those interested should compare the B03X’s specifications and pricing with other electric crossovers available in their region to determine the best fit for their needs.
