Lynk & Co 07 GT Wagon to Launch July 23 as Brand Faces Sales Decline

Lynk & Co is preparing to launch its first wagon, the 07 GT, with the official event scheduled for July 23. The new model arrives at a time when the brand is experiencing a sustained drop in sales, making this launch particularly significant. Pre-sales for the 07 GT began in late June, with multiple variants and a limited edition already sold out.

Lynk & Co 07 GT: Launch Details and Variants

Lynk & Co will hold the launch event for the 07 GT at 7:00 pm Beijing Time on July 23. This marks the brand’s first entry into the wagon segment. Pre-sales for the 07 GT opened on June 29, with a price range from $24,454 (~AUD 35,238) to $27,404 (~AUD 39,489).

The 07 GT is available in three regular variants, offering both two-wheel-drive and four-wheel-drive configurations. In addition, a Time Limited Edition was introduced, restricted to 1,007 units and already sold out. This special edition is priced at $30,797 (~AUD 44,377).

Design and Technical Features

The 07 GT features Lynk & Co’s The Next Day design language, with LiDAR at the front and semi-hidden door handles. The vehicle measures 4,846 mm (~191 inches) in length, with some versions extending to 4,866 mm (~192 inches), 1,900 mm (~75 inches) in width, 1,485 mm (~58 inches) in height, and a wheelbase of 2,843 mm (~112 inches).

Built on the CMA architecture and EM-P intelligent hybrid platform, the 07 GT is equipped with a 28.3-kWh battery pack. The two-wheel-drive version offers a CLTC combined range of up to 1,422 km (~884 miles). The four-wheel-drive performance variant delivers a combined system output of 390 kW (523 hp) and accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in under 5 seconds.

Higher-trim versions can be equipped with MRC magnetorheological suspension and optional sport packages, including a dry carbon-fiber rear wing. The Time Limited Edition stands out with its matte Mont Blanc gray color, blue limited-edition four-piston sport calipers, high-performance braking components, and high-purity blue Alcantara interior.

Sales Performance and Market Context

Lynk & Co’s sales have been declining for eight consecutive months, with June sales totaling 19,066 vehicles—a 27.53% decrease year-on-year and 8.04% drop from May. The brand’s first-half sales reached 144,215 vehicles, down 6.44% compared to the previous year.

Sales peaked at 40,213 vehicles in October 2025, but June 2026 figures represent a 52.6% decline from that high, marking the lowest monthly sales since February 2025. In contrast, parent company Geely Auto sold 240,799 vehicles in June, up 2.02% year-on-year, driven mainly by strong export growth.

Company Background and Ownership

Lynk & Co was established in 2017 by Geely Auto and Volvo Cars. Its sister brand Zeekr, which already offers two shooting brake-style wagons—the Zeekr 007 GT and Zeekr 001—acquired a 51% stake in Lynk & Co in a transaction completed in February 2025.

Why this matters

The launch of the 07 GT is significant for Lynk & Co as it seeks to reverse a prolonged sales decline and expand into a new vehicle segment. Introducing a wagon model diversifies the brand’s lineup beyond sedans and SUVs, potentially attracting new customers and addressing changing market demands.

What this means for buyers

Buyers interested in a hybrid wagon now have a new option in the Chinese market, with the Lynk & Co 07 GT offering advanced features and multiple configurations. Those seeking exclusivity may note that the Time Limited Edition has already sold out, but regular variants remain available for pre-order.
