Nio to Announce Q2 2026 Earnings on September 1 as Delivery Growth Continues

Nio Inc (NYSE: NIO) has scheduled the release of its unaudited second-quarter 2026 financial results for September 1. The announcement comes as the company reports strong year-on-year delivery growth, though Q2 volumes fell slightly short of guidance.

Nio will report its financial results for the second quarter ended June 30 before the US market opens on Tuesday, September 1. The company’s management will host an earnings conference call at 8:00 am US Eastern Time, which corresponds to 8:00 pm in Beijing, Hong Kong, and Singapore.

Monthly deliveries showed a recovery trend, with 29,356 vehicles delivered in April, 37,705 in May, and 40,597 in June—the highest monthly total so far this year. In the first half of 2026, Nio delivered 191,123 vehicles, up 67.43% year-on-year.

The third-generation ES8 SUV accounted for 33,474 deliveries in the second quarter, making up 31.09% of total deliveries. The ES9, Nio’s new flagship SUV, contributed 11,703 deliveries after its launch on May 28, representing 10.87% of the total. Firefly, Nio’s small premium-car brand, delivered 17,589 vehicles, while Onvo, the family-focused brand, delivered 29,124 vehicles in the quarter—a 70.51% year-on-year increase. Onvo’s deliveries were relatively evenly split among its L60, L90, and L80 models.

Financial Performance and Previous Results

In the first quarter of 2026, Nio recorded an adjusted operating profit of $9.9M (~AUD 13.9M), with revenue rising 112.2% year-on-year to $3.8B (~AUD 5.3B). The company’s overall gross margin reached 19.0%, its highest level in four years.

For the second quarter, Nio had previously guided for revenue between $4.9B (~AUD 6.8B) and $5.1B (~AUD 7.2B).
