The move comes after the brand was barred from selling cars in the country starting with the 2027 model year due to new regulations. Polestar’s U.S. Exit and Deep Discounts

The dual-motor version offers 280 miles (~451 km) of range, 544 horsepower, and accelerates from 0-60 mph in 3.7 seconds.
Inventory in California shows Polestar 4 models available in the mid-$35,000 (~AUD 50,785) range. Lease deals are also available, with the Polestar 4 starting at $399 per month for 39 months. All offers are set to expire on July 31.
Customer Support and Service After U.S. Exit
Polestar, owned by the Geely Group and spun out of Volvo in 2017, will continue to sell cars outside of the U.S. The company has stated it will “continue to support customers, including providing access to its service network.”
Polestar customers in the U.S. will be able to have their vehicles serviced at 32 service locations, all situated at Volvo dealerships.
