Renewables will overtake coal as largest global electricity source in 1 year

At the recent COP28 climate conference in Dubai, leaders from over 130 nations collectively established an objective to triple global renewable energy installations by 2030. Despite the need for additional efforts to achieve this target, a prominent energy organization has forecasted that renewables will surpass coal generation as the predominant electricity source worldwide in early 2025.
