Solar & wind output soars in Europe, lowering emissions at fastest rate in history

According to the European Commission, carbon dioxide emissions governed by the European Union’s emissions trading system (ETS) experienced a remarkable decline of 15.5% in 2023, attributed to a surge in renewable power generation.
