Tesla pivots into energy, arbitrage and superchargers as EV growth slows

In response to the disappointing electric vehicle delivery results in Q1 2024, Tesla has opted to accelerate the deployment of energy storage solutions. While the growth of Tesla’s electric vehicle business may be temporarily stalled, its energy storage segment continues to experience strong momentum. Today, Tesla unveiled its Q1 2024 delivery and production figures, which were notably below expectations. The company produced 433,371 vehicles and delivered 386,810 units, falling short by approximately 20,000 vehicles compared to even the most conservative projections.
