A Tesla shareholder, Michael Perry, has filed a lawsuit against CEO Elon Musk, alleging insider trading in connection with the sale of over $7.5 billion in shares of the electric vehicle company’s stock in late 2022. According to the lawsuit filed in the Delaware Chancery Court last week, Perry accuses Musk of exploiting his position at Tesla and breaching his fiduciary duties to the company. Perry further claims that Musk improperly profited by approximately $3 billion based on insider knowledge.
