The most extensive clean energy initiative in the United States consists of two components: SunZia Wind and SunZia Transmission. Throughout the construction phase, these projects will engage over 2,000 workers, encompassing roles such as heavy equipment operators, electricians, laborers, and various others. SunZia Wind stands as the largest wind project in the Western Hemisphere, aiming for a capacity of 3,500 megawatts (MW). This substantial wind farm is under development across the counties of Torrance, Lincoln, and San Miguel in New Mexico.
