A recent report by the Solar Energy Industries Association (SEIA) and Wood Mackenzie indicates that the United States is poised to achieve a groundbreaking addition of 33 gigawatts (GW) of solar capacity in 2023. The “US Solar Market Insight Q4 2023” report reveals that in the third quarter (Q3), new solar installations reached 6.5 gigawatts (GW), marking a significant 35% year-over-year surge. This growth is attributed to the implementation of federal clean energy policies gaining traction. However, the solar industry is anticipated to face challenges in 2024.
