Volkswagen CEO Oliver Blume envisions the possibility of the company’s €20,000 ($21,714) electric vehicle entering the market in the latter half of the 2020s. Despite the absence of a definitive decision on producing an affordable model, Blume expressed his belief during a conference today that if Volkswagen opts to manufacture an ultra-affordable EV targeting customers unwilling to spend over €30,000 or even €40,000 for a new car, it would likely materialize post-2025.
