Zhejiang Geely Holding Group, which includes Volvo Cars, has become the world’s 10th best-selling automaker. This achievement is significant partly because over a third of its sales now consist of plug-in vehicles, and the company aims to be a 100% plug-in vehicle company by around 2030. Additionally, it’s noteworthy that BYD, a dominant player in both the Chinese and global plug-in vehicle markets, is close behind Geely. BYD has already achieved the status of being a 100% plug-in vehicle company.
