Berlin architect Riccardo Mariano has conceptualized a groundbreaking project for Houston, Texas – the Arco del Tiempo (Arch of Time). This innovative structure, towering at 100 feet, not only acts as a symbolic gateway to Houston’s East End within the Second Ward district but also doubles as a public sundial. Adorned with a roof layered in photovoltaic modules, the archway is poised to generate nearly 400,000 kWh of electricity annually.
