Xiaomi EV has announced that cumulative deliveries of its SU7 sedan series have exceeded 500,000 units, just over two years after the model first reached customers. The milestone comes as Xiaomi expands its lineup with the new Sky Nomad series and prepares for a major showing at the 2026 Chengdu Auto Show.
SU7 Series Reaches Half-Million Milestone
According to CNEVPost, Xiaomi EV’s SU7 sedan series has now surpassed 500,000 cumulative deliveries, achieving this mark 28.5 months after the first vehicles reached customers. The original SU7 launched on March 28, 2024, with deliveries beginning on April 3 of that year. The high-performance SU7 Ultra followed in February 2025, and the latest generation SU7 was introduced in March 2026.
In July 2026, the SU7 sedan series delivered 21,044 units, representing a 3.09% increase from June but a 13.79% decrease compared to July last year. For the first seven months of 2026, SU7 deliveries totaled 101,540 units.
Xiaomi EV’s Broader Delivery Performance
Including the YU7 SUV series, Xiaomi EV has delivered more than 760,000 vehicles in total. In July 2026, the company delivered 31,267 vehicles, a 2.68% increase year-on-year but a 9.99% decline from the previous month. Cumulative deliveries for the first seven months of 2026 reached 216,322 units, up 14.83% year-on-year and accounting for 39% of Xiaomi EV’s full-year target of 550,000 vehicles.
The YU7 series contributed 114,782 units to the January-July total.
Sky Nomad Series and Upcoming Launches
On July 30, Xiaomi introduced its second vehicle series, the Sky Nomad, marking its entry into the extended-range electric vehicle (EREV) segment. The 7-seat flagship N90 Max has a pre-sales starting price of $44,360 (~AUD 62,675), while the 5-seat N70 Max starts at $38,443 (~AUD 54,316). Both models are scheduled to go on sale in September 2026.
These new models are priced below the Tesla Model Y L, which starts at $50,143 (~AUD 70,846), and are positioned to compete directly with offerings from Li Auto and Huawei-backed Aito.
