A shortage of the essential blue-oval badges for the front of every new Ford has led to a delay in production on some key models, led by the top-selling Ford F-150 pick-up. Ford has admitted it could have between 40,000 and 45,000 F-150s sitting outside factories in October as they wait for their badges.
