Tesla CEO Elon Musk believes that Tesla’s next-gen vehicle platform is going to be able to produce electric cars for half the cost, labor, and factory space that it takes to produce a Model 3, which currently starts at $47,000. Musk said that the new vehicle platform would also be smaller in size.
