Lynk & Co 900L Flagship SUV to Debut November 10 with Seven Seats and Range Rover-Inspired Design

Lynk & Co is set to unveil its new 900L flagship SUV on November 10, expanding its large SUV lineup with a seven-seat plug-in hybrid model. The 900L features a distinctive Range Rover-like profile, advanced styling elements, and a 2.0-litre turbocharged engine. Its Chinese market launch is planned for late 2026.

Range Rover-Inspired Styling and Design Features

The Lynk & Co 900L adopts a redesigned front end with a wider, integrated lighting assembly and retains the brand’s signature door-shaped daytime running lights. The main headlights are positioned within a revised front fascia, which also features larger air intakes and a LiDAR sensor mounted at the front of the roof.

The SUV’s profile closely resembles the Land Rover Range Rover, with high-gloss black pillars, flat body panels, flush-style glazing, and a vertical trim accent along the front door cut-line. The 900L is available in an exclusive Mellow Wine Red finish, and Lynk & Co has launched a public campaign to solicit name suggestions for the new model. Additional exterior highlights include 21-inch multi-spoke wheels, semi-hidden door handles, and a full-width rear light bar with an illuminated LYNK & CO logo.

Dimensions, Seating, and Utility

Measuring 5,280 mm (~208 inches) long, 1,999 mm (~78.7 inches) wide, and 1,810 mm (~71.3 inches) tall, the 900L features a 3,170 mm (~124.8 inches) wheelbase. This makes it 40 mm (~1.6 inches) longer than the standard 900, with a 10 mm (~0.4 inches) longer wheelbase. Both approach and departure angles are 20 degrees.

The 900L introduces a seven-seat configuration, joining the existing five- and six-seat versions in the lineup. While detailed cabin measurements and third-row specifications have not been released, the regulatory filing confirms the seven-seat layout. The filing also lists three curb weights: 2,880 kg (~6,349 lbs), 2,965 kg (~6,537 lbs), and 3,045 kg (~6,715 lbs). Selected versions can be equipped with a towing device rated for trailers up to 2,000 kg (~4,409 lbs) with brakes.

Powertrain and Technical Details

The 900L is powered by a BHE20-EFZ 2.0-litre turbocharged engine delivering a maximum gross output of 160 kW (215 hp). The listed top speed is 225 km/h (140 mph). Battery cells are supplied by Times Geely (Sichuan) Power Battery Co., Ltd., with Zhejiang Jiyao Tongxing Energy Technology Co., Ltd. manufacturing the battery packs.

While media reports mention a dual-motor electric-drive system and two ternary lithium battery options (55.1 kWh and 70.0 kWh) with claimed CLTC electric ranges of 320 km (~199 miles) and 430 km (~267 miles), Lynk & Co has not confirmed these figures. Details on air suspension, driver-assistance systems, and the functions supported by the roof-mounted LiDAR remain unannounced.

Sales Trends and Market Context

The original Lynk & Co 900 saw its monthly deliveries decline sharply from 7,048 units in October 2025 to 629 in September 2026, a 91.4% year-on-year drop. Its share of Lynk & Co’s domestic sales also fell from 19.1% to 3.8% over the same period, according to China EV DataTracker.

In September 2026, Lynk & Co recorded 16,584 domestic deliveries across its lineup, representing a 1.0% market share and a 44.4% year-on-year decline from 29,836 units. The 900L will compete in a segment that includes large electrified SUVs such as the Aito M9 and Li Auto L9.

Why this matters

The introduction of the Lynk & Co 900L brings a new seven-seat plug-in hybrid option to the large SUV segment, offering buyers more flexibility in seating and utility. Its Range Rover-inspired design and advanced features aim to attract attention in a competitive market.

With the brand’s recent sales contraction, the 900L’s performance could play a significant role in shaping Lynk & Co’s future in the large SUV category.

What this means for buyers

Buyers interested in large, electrified SUVs will soon have another option to consider with the Lynk & Co 900L. Those seeking a seven-seat configuration and distinctive styling may find the 900L appealing, but should watch for further details on pricing, battery options, and equipment levels following the November 10 debut.
