GM stock dropped more than 1.5% in the first hour of the trading day after losing 3.9% on Monday. While Ford stock edged down about 0.5% after it fell more than 6.8% on Monday. The hardest hit among the U.S. automakers is Ford Motor Company which has lost more than a quarter of its value in the past 30 days amid growing inventory concerns.
