China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) has identified the Geely Xingyuan and BYD Qin L DM-i in its latest production conformity inspections, citing deviations from regulatory standards. The MIIT’s 2025 new energy vehicle (NEV) production conformity inspections flagged seven vehicle models, including Geely’s Xingyuan and BYD’s Qin L DM-i, for failing to meet declared regulatory parameters. The JL7001BEV71 all-electric sedan, identified as the Xingyuan, was found to have a wheelbase deviation exceeding the permitted 1% margin.
