Panasonic says homes and offices will soon be powered by their windows

Envision a future where the glass windows and walls of residential and commercial buildings serve as direct sources of solar energy, eliminating the need for bulky and space-consuming solar panels. This vision is on the brink of realization, with Japanese electronics powerhouse Panasonic pioneering the technology. Currently, it is being tested in a trial project situated in Fujisawa, located to the south of Tokyo.
